Bakugan Starter Pack

The Bakugan Starter Pack is the ideal introduction to the world of Bakugan. Based on the hit fun anime TV series "Bakugan Battle Brawlers", this strategic Bakugan game pits Bakugan Warriors - such as "Juggernoids", "Fear Rippers" and "Robatallians" - against each other for points.

Bakugan battle brawlers are here! Answer the call to brawl and decide the fate of the galaxy! Magnetic marbles POP open into power Bakugan warrior action figures when they roll onto the real metal Gate Cards! Use strategy to place your metal Gate Cards as each card affects the battle differently. Master your shooting skills to roll your Bakugan into battle.

Warning! The Bakugan Starter Pack is selling out very fast. Buy Now for Christmas delivery. Don't disappoint your children this Christmas.

With this Bakugan Starter Pack, kids 4 and above will enjoy the challenge of earning points by rolling their Bakugan (or shooting them from a launcher) onto magnetic cards where the plastic spheres burst open to reveal the fearsome warrior apparatus inside. Kids will also love the way the Bakugan transform suddenly into warrior mode, and fans of the show will have an especially good time with the game.

Bakugan Starter Pack - Observations

Bakugan Starter PackThis is a clever and exciting interactive game that kids will enjoy even if they're not familiar with the TV show and there are many colors and varieties of Bakugan to collect. This Bakugan Starter Pack includes a random selection of three Bakugan warriors. It also includes three metal cards and easy to follow, illustrated instructions. It does not include the optional Bakugan Launcher. This is an ideal way for newbies to get started with this fun and exciting game. The game itself is fairly straightforward, but if your child has never played before, you might have to help him or her to understand the rules - after reading and understanding them yourself. While some of the plastic Bakugan pieces are small and could easily get lost, others, like the Bakugan Deka, are as big as a softball.

We like that this that this game combines skill (aiming your Bakugan) with strategy (placement of the cards). We also enjoyed the way the warriors pop open on the magnetic cards - although sometimes they do it even when they don't land on the cards. Being unfamiliar with the TV show, we felt a little lost at first in the world of Bakugan. But with the help of the colorful, animated Bakugan Web site, we got the gist of what the game is about and how to play. Our attempts to fire the launcher proved somewhat difficult and instructions would have helped. But the launcher isn't necessary. Kids can simply roll the Bakugan like marbles for a fun and action-packed game with their friends.

The Bakugan come in lots of colors and varieties that make them fun to collect and trade. Most of them are pocket-sized and easy for your child to carry around and bring over to their friend's houses. Having a magnet that activates the warriors is a clever idea that adds excitement to the game. The Bakugan Launcher (sold separately) is a great accessory, with three shooting modes ("curve," "angle, and "distance"), but it doesn't come with any instructions.

Bakugan Characters

In Bakugan Dan Kuso was an average boy until he found some cards that dropped from the sky. Along with his friends, he came up with a game for them - that game was called Bakugan!
Soon Dan and his friends, Runo, Marucho, Julie, Shun and Alice become the Bakugan Battle Brawlers, with the fate of Vestroia in their hands!

Name Description
Dan Kuso Dan Kuso is a 12 year old boy, who is the master of Bakugan. He loves to play it. Dan is in a group called the Bakugan Battle Brawlers. Dan and Shun are the creators of the Bakugan game. His Guardian Bakugan is the Pyrus-attribute Dragonoid (nicknamed Drago). Dan is crazy about Runo, but will never admit it.
Runo Misaki Runo is a tomboy who loves playing Bakugan. Just like Dan, Runo has a short temper and gets angry when she loses a battle. Runo has a crush on Dan but she wouldn't admit it and is jealous of Julie taking Dan's attention. In battle Runo uses light attributes. Her Guardian Bakugan is the Haos-attribute Tigrerra, who is very obedient to her master and powerful in battle.
Marucho Marokuro Marucho is a wealthy, 11-year old, blond-haired boy with glasses. He is caring, strong at heart, polite, and generous. He used to be extremely obedient to his parents out of fear, but that changed when he met the Brawlers. He now has no regrets for the past, realizing that he only wanted to make his parents happy. His Guardian Bakugan are the Aquos-attribute Preyas and the Haos Angelo/Pyrus Diablo Preyas.
Julie Makimoto Julie lives near Bakugan Valley. She's 12 years old and is in love with Billy(since Dan and Runo became boyfriend and girlfriend) of the Battle Brawlers and tries to stay happy even when the worst has happened (for example, when Billy ended up under the control of Masquerade), her acting happy after something terrible happened is generally just to cover up her real feelings.
Shun Kazami Shun is a strong, silent, cool type 12-year-old. He is the former 1st ranked Bakugan player. He is a master of Bakugan, and also is Dan's childhood friend. Shun is a loner, a boy of very few words, yet is willing to help his friends at every turn. He approaches the game like a ninja. Shun's Guardian Bakugan is the Ventus-attribute Skyress whom Shun received from his comatose mother.
Alice Gehabich Alice is a 14 year old girl from Moscow who didn't play Bakugan until her identity of Masquerade had disappeared from her body. Upon his departure, Masquerade left her the Darkus-attribute Hydranoid. Michael Gehabich is her grandfather, but after learning that her grandfather became Hal-G and works with Naga, she constantly worried about him. Alice usually just gives advice to the brawlers, instead of battling.
Joe Brown Joe is a 12-year-old boy also known as "Webmaster Joe" who created the Bakugan website. The Brawlers first thought that Joe was working with Masquerade, but it turns out that Joe sent a message to all of the Bakugan Brawlers in the chat room about Masquerade and becomes one of the Brawlers.
Hal-G Hal-G is the loyal servant of Naga. He used to be a famous scientist named Michael Gehabich, who mysteriously disappeared. He once studied Vestroia until an accident happened, and negative energy filled into his lab, causing him to turn into Hal-G.
Masquerade Masquerade used to be the number one ranked Bakugan player in the world, before he left Alice's body. His goal is to send all Bakugan to the Doom Dimension (the most feared place by all Bakugan) with his Doom Card, so he may evolve his Hydranoid and have the Ultimate Bakugan.
